Morris Dismissed from Men’s Basketball Program

The University of Minnesota released a statement prior to their Thursday matchup with the Maryland Terrapins.

“The University of Minnesota men’s basketball program has dismissed senior Carlos Morris for conduct detrimental to the team, head coach Richard Pitino announced Wednesday.

Morris will remain on scholarship and have access to academic support services through the remainder of the school year.

The Gophers return to action on Thursday evening, hosting #6/5 Maryland at 7:00 p.m.”
