It was reported back in July by The Undefeated that Minnesota Vikings rookie Laquon Treadwell would be appearing on HBO’s hit series “Ballers,” a show built around the lives of fictional NFL football players but often features current or former NFL players in cameo roles.
Treadwell “appeared” in the Sept. 11 episode. Appeared goes in quotations because, well, it was tough to actually spot Minnesota’s young wideout.
The credits confirm Treadwell was there, and so does he, though he poked some fun at himself in the process. “I don’t even know what I did,” he told Cold Omaha.
Treadwell was an extra during a scene that recreated the 2016 NFL Draft. It was shot in Boca Raton, Fla., where Treadwell says he was training before the season.
Even watching with your finger on the pause button, it’s tough to find Treadwell. Just for fun, I came up with a few possible screenshots that might contain the 21 year old.
Tough break for Treadwell, who didn’t get much face time with the cameras in his first big break. Treadwell’s acting career can only go up from this point. “Just the beginning,” he said.
And the most frustrating part? He didn’t even get to meet “The Rock.”
