Sure, he played in the pass-happy Big 12, but three 1,000-yard seasons is nothing at which to blush.
James Washington returned for his senior season and tore up the conference with a nation-leading 1,549 yards and 13 touchdowns as he caught passes from fellow prospect Mason Rudolph.
His senior season earned him first-team All-American status and the Biletnikoff Award for the nation’s best receiver.
Washington had 100-plus yards in nine out of 13 games his senior season, and in 13 of his last 19 collegiate games. As a junior he had a 296-yard performance against Pittsburgh.
At 6-feet, 205 pounds, though, Washington is supposed to be faster than his 4.54 40 time at the combine, though witnesses to his play say he still has the ability to separate.
PRODUCTIVITY SCORE: 106.5 | ATHLETICISM SCORE: 99.3 | AGE SCORE: 114.3
