He might be the eventual top pick in the draft, but he doesn’t come without some baggage.
Josh Rosen put together three solid seasons at UCLA with 59 combined touchdowns against 26 interceptions. But some pundits have concerns about injury – Rosen had shoulder surgery after a 2016 injury and suffered two concussions in 2017. Others have character concerns, saying he lacks dedication, discipline and coachability.
But at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, the 21-year-old Rosen is a talented, pure pocket passer who was named second-team All-Pac 12 and will catch teams’ eyes at the top of the draft board.
One of his greatest college performances came last year when he led a 34-point comeback in the second half against Texas A&M.
