It’s safe to say Rashaad Penny didn’t get a true chance to shine until 2017. The previous three seasons he was stuck behind NCAA all-time rushing leader Donnel Pumphrey, now with the Eagles.

But Penny carried on the rushing tradition when he was a senior, carrying for an NCAA high 2,248 yards, 7.8 yards per carry and 23 touchdowns. He also returned kicks all four years of his San Diego State career.

Penny, 5-foot-11, 220 pounds, had a successful combine with a 4.46 40-yard dash to solidify his resume.

His brother, Elijhaa, plays for the Arizona Cardinals.
