After a relatively quiet first two seasons at Georgia, Roquan Smith emerged during Georgia’s run to the College Football Playoff title game. The extra playoff games helped him amass 137 tackles, which tied for seventh in Division I. He also added 6.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss to go with stellar coverage skills.

Smith was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year and the MVP of the SEC Championship Game. He’s also one of the draft’s youngest players at just 20 years old.

At 6-foot-1, 225 pounds, he is an inside linebacker that could also thrive in the nickel defense.
