After transferring from Georgia Military College, Dennis Daley quickly became a starter at left tackle for the South Carolina Gamecocks and earned a Senior Bowl invite after the 2018 season. Held his own at times against top pass-rushers within the SEC but did allow a high number of hurries both seasons as a starter. May have the capability of moving to guard at the next level. Not a phenomenal combine tester but has the tools for next-level success as he gets more refined.

What the analysts say

“JUCO transfer and two-year starter who faced baptism by fire against some of the best rushers in the 2019 draft. Daley allowed too many sacks and pressures during the year but continued to improve and put together a solid performance against Clemson’s bevy of talent. He must break his pass-set habit of deadening feet and lunging at opponents or he’ll face a bumpy ride as a pro. He should continue to improve and ascend and has the tools to become a solid starter at one of the tackle spots.” – Lance Zierlein, NFL.com

“After spending two years at the JUCO level, South Carolina offensive tackle Dennis Daley jumped into the SEC and has played at a high level for most of the past two seasons. Sure, he’ll have his concerns against true speed/bend/quick-twitch rushers due to some footwork concerns in pass protection, but Daley has the strength, impressive strikes and technique to be a starter in the NFL.” – Jon Ledyard, The Draft Network
