2 Team 6 Point Tease; Ravens -3, Colts -2: As much as I love the Ravens, this one has more to do with how much I love betting against the NFC East. The Eagles are a flawed football team, and although their offense can randomly get hot, they are going to have a hard time keep it close against this Baltimore defense. As for the Colts, I’m going to give Philip Rivers one more chance. This game teased under 3 against a struggling Bengals team is a must-win. They should be able to pull it off against Indianapolis as long as they keep rookie Joe Burrow from getting on a roll.
Packers -1 (-110): This game felt like a trap to me, but I’m still diving straight into it. Tom Brady has shown signs of slowing down early this season, and Aaron Rodgers simply has not. The Bucs are banged up and their defense has yet to find its identity. The Packers could be the best team in football, and if their defense continues to play well it should be the difference in this one.
Titans -3 (-110): Honestly, the Texans are bad. I love betting against them, especially after they beat an even worse Jacksonville team to make people forget how bad they are themselves. I truly do not understand how a Deshaun Watson-led team can be this bad, but it starts from the culture the ownership has created. This Titans team loves to play with a chip on their own shoulders, and I expect them to come out ready to play once again.
Steelers -3 (-110): I refuse to admit the Browns are good, and I think this week will prove me right again. Ben Roethlisberger is back and looking like his old self while rookie Chase Claypool has absolutely dominated. The Browns have beat up on some bad competition early this season, but it’s time to see how they stack up against the big dogs of their division. As long as his defense doesn’t bail him out again, I expect Baker Mayfield to have a long day in Pittsburgh.
