2-Team 6 Point-Teaser; Packers +3, Chiefs -1: One of my favorite things to do on NFL Sundays is the good ol’ two-team teaser. It’s always extra fun when a good team is coming off of a bad loss is forgotten about and undervalued, and I believe that’s the case with the Packers/Texans game. The Texans are not a good football team, and if the Packers can play even remotely decent, they should roll easily. As for the Chiefs, I know it’s never easy winning in Denver, and Drew Lock‘s return makes things more interesting in this one, but I’m taking Patrick Mahomes to win a game against a below-average football team.
Browns -3 (-110): Okay, Let’s not overthink this one: The Bengals are bad. The Browns are decent, and I’m not going to write them off because of one bad game against a powerful Pittsburgh team last week. This one isn’t as much about how good the Browns are but more about how bad the Bengals are. Look for Cleveland to get back on track in this one.
Degenerates
Lions +1.5 (-110): This game is the definition of a degenerate’s paradise. The Falcons are a poor team all around with the exception of Matt Ryan’s average play, and although I don’t think the Lions are good, they are better than the Falcons. Matthew Stafford knows how important this game is for his wild card hopes and keeping their season alive, so look for the Lions to play some inspired football.
2-Team 6-Point Teaser; Saints -0.5, Bills -4 (-110): This one doesn’t look glamorous — but trust me. The Saints are at home against the Panthers, and although Carolina has shown some fight so far this season, New Orleans should be able to handle business. As for the Bills, they are taking on one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen. This Jets team is so bad, and if the Bills can’t beat them by four, they really are a fraud, and I don’t see that being the case. Saints and Bills should take care of business relatively comfortably.
