Yankees ML (-115): After a frustrating defeat in which Yankee’s Manager Aaron Boone was highly criticized for pulling Deivi Garcia after one inning in order to bring in J.A. Happ in a delayed starter role, the Yankees will look to regain control of this series. Today, they send Masahiro Tanaka to the mound in hopes that he can cool off a Rays lineup that put up seven runs Tuesday night to even up the series at 1-1. This Yankee lineup is simply too good not to take with near even odds, and I expect them to bounce back in a big way Wednesday.
Astros Team Over 4.5 (+115): The George Springer-led Astros are red hot right now. A’s pitcher Jesus Luzardo pitched well against the Astros in the regular season but struggled against Chicago in his first playoff start, and Houston isn’t the same team that started this strange season. The playoffs are a different game, and Oakland can be streaky from the plate, so I’m sticking with the plus odds and taking Houston’s team over in this one.
