NFL – 2-Team 6-Point Teaser; Browns -2.5, Bucs -0.5:

The Cleveland Browns lucked out in a game that they need to win in order to make the playoffs — the Pittsburgh Steelers seem to have packed it in for the regular season and are looking ahead to the playoffs. Cleveland gets their wide receivers back from the COVID list this week so look for them to have a little tune-up game against some of the Steelers backups.

When I looked at this Tampa Bay Buccaneers game, I was pretty confused because they literally just played. The Atlanta Falcons played a good game in that one and still lost in classic Atlanta fashion. I think Tom Brady and the gang take care of business a little easier this time around, especially in Tampa.

NCAA Basketball – Southern Illinois @ Drake -11 (-110):

It’s been nothing but really impressive basketball from this Drake team as they’ve rolled to a 9-0 ATS record. That probably has to end at some point, but we’ll stick with them here against a Salukis squad that was really exposed in their last game. They allowed a poor-shooting Evansville team to shoot 55.3%, and that defense will be further exploited by the elite Drake offense.

Star forward ShanQuan Hemphill should have a big bounce-back here as Southern Illinois has trouble with athletic forwards. This is the first game of the two-day doubleheader, which trends have shown are more likely to have the better team cover the number. No team has gotten within 20 of Drake in Des Moines, so I trust the Bulldogs in this one.

Degenerates

NFL – Cowboys -1.5 (-110):

This would be a lock but I am a Dallas Cowboys fan so I didn’t want to be too biased. This is an indictment of how bad the New York Giants are more than anything else. Andy Dalton has recently turned up his game alongside a stellar receiving core but more than anything else this defense is starting to play decent football. Cowboys should take care of business and leave their fate in the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles against the Washington Football Team.

NFL – Bears/Packers Over 48.5 (-110):

Mitchell Trubisky has somehow rejuvenated this Chicago Bears offense just enough to possibly get into the playoffs with a win against the Green Bay Packers. Although I’m not sure he will get that done, I trust him to put up 20 points as long as the weather holds up. Aaron Rodgers should take care of the rest in his final chance to run up his possible MVP stats. Look for this one to end up in the 50s.

Tiny Nick is 88-41 ATS (+45.9 Units) on his Locks since joining Zone Coverage.

Every day he will offer his Locks and Degenerate picks. Locks are the games he’s confident in. Degenerates are entertaining, but riskier picks.
