The key though is their poor defensive ratings, 127th for Oklahoma State and 152nd for West Virginia. That’s caused a lot of high scoring games for both teams, especially compared to this particular total.
The Mountaineers are 7-4 to the over against this game’s total on the year, and that goes to 5-1 to the over against power conference and/or ranked teams. They’re also 3-0 to the over as the visiting team. The numbers are similar for the Cowboys: 7-2 over against this total, 3-1 against power-conference opponents, and 4-0 as the home team. Given the situational splits for this game, I think that outweighs weak shooting metrics and we see another over for these teams.
