NFL (1.5 Units) 2 Team 6.5 Point Teaser; Minnesota Vikings +10, New England Patriots -0.5 (-130):

Minnesota Vikings +10

We started a new segment on my podcast this week, and this game was one of the most fun to talk about because both of these teams are so hard to predict on a weekly basis. I never thought I would say this, but I feel like the Vikings are actually undervalued in this spot ATS, so get me to the magic number of +10, and I’m all in.

This Vikings team always seems to play to its competition, and with a 10-point cushion, that’s all we can ask for today. The Vikings haven’t lost a game by more than 7 all year, so a tease with them in it just makes sense. As for Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers, they’re pretty bipolar so this is in no way a fade of them but more or less me simply respecting the Vikings enough to either win or cover this double-digit number.

New England Patriots -0.5

As for the Patriots, what’s not to love? Bill Belichick seems to be on a mission to expedite his return to the top of the AFC and what better way to display that than to destroy a depleted Tennessee Titans team that is currently in first place. This is another ATS pick for me as well because I really think Tennessee’s luck is bound to run out soon. The Titans will also most likely be without their 3 best offensive weapons, which makes it even easier for Belichick to game plan with those 3 extra days of rest they’ve gotten since their last game on Thursday Night Football. I’m officially a Mac Jones believer, so let’s go Pats.

NFL (1 Unit) Los Angeles Chargers -2.5 @ Denver Broncos (-110): 3:05 PM CT on CBS

I’ve seen so many people talk about Denver’s record at home and their recent success against the Chargers, but I really don’t care about any of that. Since beating the 3 worst teams in the NFL to start the season 3-0, the Broncos have been mediocre at best. Now they have to try to defend against young star quarterback Justin Herbert without Von Miller (recently traded to the Rams), which should tell you even more about how Denver feels about their own roster. 2.5 points is just too small of a number in a game that has such a difference in quarterback skill, so I’m rolling with Herbert and the Chargers simply because I don’t think Teddy Bridgewater will be able to keep up.

NFL (1 Unit) Philadelphia Eagles -3.5 @ NY Giants (-110): 12:00 PM CT on Fox

Buckle up ladies and gentlemen, we have an NFC showdown. I’m totally kidding, per usual this division is bad and it’s been entertaining to see the teams at the bottom battle their way towards .500 but to no avail much of the time. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles are trying to prove otherwise as of late.

The Eagles have been rolling recently winning their last two games by a combined 28 points while relying heavily on the dual-threat capabilities of their young quarterback. Pair that with a defense that’s playing well and a New York Giants offense that just fired their offensive coordinator and now is being led by Freddy Kitchens, and this game seems to be a no-brainer for me. I wish it was -3 instead of -3.5 but hey, it shouldn’t matter when the Eagles win by double digits.

Degenerates

No degenerates today.

Tiny Nick is 462-358 ATS (+85.6 Units) on his Locks since joining Zone Coverage.

Every day he will offer his Locks and Degenerate picks. Locks are the games he’s confident in. Degenerates are entertaining but riskier picks.
