Locks
NBA – Wolves/Bulls over 231 (-110): 7:00 PM CT on Bally Sports Network
Both the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Chicago Bulls rank towards the top of the league in pace and neither team is exactly a defensive juggernaut. Since the acquisition of Nikola Vucevic, the Bulls have been scoring at a higher clip than before the trade deadline and we all know how bad Minnesota’s defensive output is on most nights.
The Wolves have had an average of 280 points scored in their last two games while the Bulls have averaged 230 against far superior defensive teams. 231 isn’t a walk in the park but if D’Angelo Russell, Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards, Zach LaVine, and Vucevic all play, this game should have a great chance of going over.
Degenerates
NBA – Spurs/Mavs over 220.5 (-110): 7:00 PM CT
When Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis are both in the lineup, I love taking a peek at a Dallas Mavericks over. The only reason I didn’t put this in the locks is that I don’t know a ton about the San Antonio Spurs, and I noticed a couple of overtime games have driven up their offensive averages.
That being said, anything below 225 seems low to me in a Mavs game so keep an eye on the injury report and pull the trigger of Demar Derozan, Porzingis and Doncic are all a go for tonight.
