NBA – Wolves/Heat Over 221 (-110): 7:00 PM CT on Bally Sports North

This game has two things I was intrigued by. One being that Jimmy Butler loves playing against his former team, and I fully expect him to want to remind them of how much they miss him. The second one is that the Minnesota Timberwolves have a total come in under 225 for the first time in a while.

Speaking of the Wolves, they just don’t play defense, ranking at the bottom of the league and allowing an average of 117 points per game scored against them. That spells both over and Miami Heat -6 if you want to get greedy. I’m going to keep riding this horrible defense train when a favorable total comes out because D’Angelo Russell, Anthony Edwards, and Karl-Anthony Towns are almost as good at offense as they are bad at defense.

MLB – Blue Jays ML vs. Royals (-110): 7:10 PM CT

Steven Matz is on fire right now and this line does not reflect that whatsoever. This Kansas City Royals team is a sleeper candidate but the Toronto Blue Jays are an actual powerhouse right now. When Toronto emptied their bank accounts this off-season, they didn’t do it to be mediocre.

With Matz on the rise and the Blue Jays needing a win, I expect them to bounce back against Mike Minor and the Royals after a tough loss last night.

MLB – White Sox ML vs. Red Sox (+105): 6:10 PM CT

This is a battle of two teams that have done the opposite of what they were expected to do this year. The Boston Red Sox seemed to be going in the direction of a rebuild and still very possibly could at any point of struggling but they’ve exceeded expectations in a talented AL East this far.

On the other hand, the Chicago White Sox haven’t clicked on all cylinders yet. With the exception of a no-hitter onslaught of the Cleveland Indians two nights ago, they haven’t hit their stride yet. This lineup is simply too good not to take with plus money. Dylan Cease is more than capable of having a good start and holding this Red Sox lineup to a favorable number en route to a Chicago win.

Tiny Nick is 226-142 ATS (+76.5 Units) on his Locks since joining Zone Coverage.

Every day he will offer his Locks and Degenerate picks. Locks are the games he’s confident in. Degenerates are entertaining but riskier picks.
