Locks
MLB – White Sox ML vs. Mariners (-130): 9:00 PM CT
I know these odds are heavier than I usually take but this one is simple: The White Sox are 20-0 in their last 20 games against a left-handed starting pitcher. I repeat, they have not lost a game since 2019 to a lefty starter.
Not only are they going up against a vulnerable lefty in James Paxton, but the White Sox are also sending their best pitcher to the mound with Lucas Giolito ready to get his next Cy Young campaign underway. This stacked right-handed lineup for Chicago should be able to handle business relatively easily tonight in Seattle behind their opening day starter.
Degenerates
NBA – Bulls -1 @ Pacers (-110): 6:00 PM CT
When Chicago made some noise at the trade deadline they surprised many people, including me. But I guess the East truly is wide open right now. That being said, Nikola Vucevic is no slouch and alongside Zach LaVine the Chicago Bulls should be able to beat up on the lower teams, especially in the East.
After a big win against the Brooklyn Nets, I see the Bulls rolling again here against an Indiana Pacers team that really doesn’t have much direction right now.
