As we saw yesterday, a short spread in the NBA playoffs isn’t usually pretty crazy at the end because of desperation fouls. So let’s double down and take another short favorite.
The Denver Nuggets are coming off of a horrible showing in Portland and can’t wait to get back in front of their home fans. They’ve shown they are capable of beating good teams without Jamal Murray and the pendulum that is this series should swing back to Denver tonight in Game 5.
Take it anywhere up to 3, and let’s hope the public brings the Portland Trail Blazers back to even so we can get Denver at an even better number. Nikola Jokić is simply too good to not believe he can win a mid-series home game in a tied series after an abysmal performance in Game 4.
