Aaron Rodgers Responds To the Jon Gruden Controversy

The top story to this point in the 2021 NFL season is, unfortunately, an off the field story. Jon Gruden‘s resignation as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders has taken the sports world by storm. Across the league players, coaches, and executives have being asked their thoughts on the situation and Gruden’s disgusting comments.

In his weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Aaron Rodgers addressed the controversy and calmly but passionately discussed the goodness that he believes exists inside locker room and with the players.

The NFL has long struggled with acceptance and tolerance. But, in modern times, the league has at least started to make efforts to improve as it addresses issues like racism, sexuality, gender, and mental health. No doubt there are plenty of people who think like Jon Gruden in society and the NFL, but it’s nice to know that one of the league’s preeminent faces, Rodgers, believes there’s a better environment growing.
