Emmanuel Acho Explains How Randall Cobb Makes a Super Bowl Difference

To many fans the Randall Cobb situation seems silly. A dramatic superstar quarterback needs to get something his way so he leverages to bring one of his buddies back. An overpaid, over the hill wide receiver that the some feel doesn’t even make sense for the roster.

I get how the drama of this past off-season can make fans look at it this way. But what if Cobb were important. Not just to keep Rogers happy, but important to the Packers production and ability to win. What if Cobb were an actual difference maker.

Well that’s the case Emmanuel Acho laid out on Speak For Yourself.

I’m sure a lot of fans will blow this off as ridiculous. But Aaron Rodgers has always made the receivers around him as opposed to the opposite. He elevates people. However good you think Allen Lazard might be, Aaron Rodgers gets a whole bunch of that credit. Having a guy who he loves and trusts and is a proven veteran in this league in that role in an important moment could absolutely make a big time difference.

Football is a game of moments. One moment can make or break a season. Acho is right having Cobb in that moment last year could’ve changed everything and having him in a similar moment this season might be a difference maker.
