NFL press conferences are often boring at best and contentious at worst. But, every great once in a while, you get something fantastic. Well, for the media members at Mike Zimmer’s press conference, today was one of those moments.
While fielding questions Zimmer’s phone rang. He was quick to silence and pocket it, casually mentioning it was Deion Sanders. But then boom, it immediately rang again. After asking the virtually assembled members, Zimmer took the call from Deion during his presser.

Matthew Coller of the Purple Daily was quick on his feet after Zimmer hung up to ask if Deion was the most impressive person in his phone. To which the coach responded “Kenny Chesney, I’ve got a few.”
A fun moment following a fun when for a team that was in desperate need of some fun.
