NBA (0.75 Unit) Brooklyn Nets -2 @ Memphis Grizzlies (-110): 6:30 PM CT on ESPN
This could be a little square, but the narrative here tells me it’s Nets or nothing in this spot. Brooklyn playing on the road with Kyrie Irving, on national TV, against a Grizzlies team missing Ja Morant seems like the perfect situation for the Nets to flex their muscles. Memphis has not been bad without Morant this season, but this Brooklyn team is just different on the road.
In the past 4 games where both Irving and Kevin Durant have played, the Nets are 3-1 straight up and 3-0-1 ATS, while averaging 132.8 points per game. That’s incredible offensive production, and I see it continuing here against a Grizzlies team that’s always willing to get into shootouts. The bottom line is Brooklyn has figured out how to crush just about anyone with those two stars on the floor, and a Memphis team missing its star seems likely to be the next victim.
