MLB (1 Unit) 2-Team Moneyline Parlay (+160)
New York Yankees (-165) @ Chicago White Sox: 6:10 PM CT on MLB Network
These past two games in Chicago have been about as easy as it gets for the Yankees, completely demolishing White Sox pitching. Dallas Keuchel has been having his struggles this season, so combine him with a mediocre-at-best bullpen that the Yankees have been crushing, and I see plenty of offense again for New York.
That’s the key here for me with the Bronx Bombers sending Jordan Montgomery to the mound. Montgomery has pitched very well this season, only allowing 10 total runs in his six starts as well as having a great history against the Chicago lineup. But the Yankee lefty has only seen his team put up 14 total runs of support across those starts, leading to a 2-4 record. If the red-hot New York bats finally give him the support he needs, that should lead to another win for them here.
Chicago Cubs @ Arizona Diamondbacks (-160): 7:10 PM CT on MLB Network
This is all about continuing to back Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen, who is finally showing the talent that’s always been there. It helps that his team isn’t utterly horrendous like they were last year, but Gallen has been carrying them. He’s only allowed three total runs in his five starts, holding down the strong lineups of the Dodgers once and the Mets twice.
If it wasn’t for the Arizona bullpen blowing one of those Mets games, the Diamondbacks would be undefeated behind Gallen this season. That’s helped get Arizona back to playing respectable baseball, certainly reflected in their above-.500 record in such a tough division. But the cloud of last season’s 110 losses still impacts their market perception, holding down the juice on this game despite such a dominant pitcher on the mound. That makes me really like this as the other leg to close this parlay for a nice plus-money return.
