MLB (0.5 Unit) NY Yankees Team Over 4.5 (-110): 12:40 PM CT
It’s a holiday weekend so I’m going to keep it very simple today. This Yankees team is clearly an incredible group of hitters, especially at the top of their lineup, so 4.5 just feels low to me much like it did yesterday. And as we saw yesterday, even on a slow day it can happen fast for Aaron Judge and the Yankees. They’re also averaging 6 runs per game in their last 7 games further illustrating how dangerous this offense is even when they’re not clicking on all cylinders. Yankees runline -1.5 was also intriguing, but I’m rolling with the Yankees team over on this joyous holiday weekend.
MLB (0.75 Unit) Chicago White Sox @ SF Giants ML (-120): 3:05 PM CT
Both of these teams have had up and down seasons so far and both have a lot of talent, but chemistry issues have seemed to hold Chicago back all year so far. After a big come-from-behind win yesterday for the White Sox, I think it’s San Francisco’s turn to get into the win column today.
It might not be super affirming but San Francisco has lost 3 in a row as of right now and all streaks have to come to an end, especially for a good team against a struggling Lucas Giolito. Giolito’s spin rate has been way down since the balls randomly changed again, so I have enough confidence fading him in a road spot for a little extra juice. The Giants are also at home so hopefully that’s enough to put them over the edge in basically a pick ‘em spot.
