Aaron Rodgers Blasts Division Rivals

Lions and Vikings and Bears who cares?

Aaron Rodger sure doesn’t.

The four time and reigning back-to-back NFL MVP took a jab at NFC North division rivals today.

For the haters and the blue checkmark sports brigade I’m sure Rodgers’ comments will stir up all sorts of “takes.” But for Packer fans it’s music to our ears. Give me a confident and cocky number 12 walking into the season and we will walk out with yet another division crown.

And why wouldn’t we? The Bears somehow look worse than the Lions. The Lions might be getting better but they’re still quarterbacked by Jared Goff and coached by Captain Bite Your Kneecaps. And the Vikings, well the Vikings still have Kirk Cousins. You could put four Jerry Rices in his prime on the Vikings and they would still have Kirk Cousins. Like Rodgers said, every year there’s talk and every year it’s the same result..

Rodgers continues to be almost as good of a sound bite as he is a quarterback.

And speaking of sound bites, it seems as if Greg Jennings has finally come to his senses a bit on Rodgers.

In an appearance on Colin Cowherd, Jennings was asked about Aaron Rodgers’ ability to play with this young group of receivers. Instead of taking the bait, Jennings explained why he expected mass success from Rodgers this season with his group. Unfortunately, Jennings couldn’t keep it on the sane train as he went on to say he believed the Vikings would win the North and Cousins would have a huge year. The full appearance is below.
