Beloved Former Packer Works Out For Chicago

He was a fan favorite. He’s a Packer Twitter Legend. And now he might be a Chicago Bear.

According to Tom Grossi of Packast former Green Bay quarterback Kurt Benkert worked out for the Chicago Bears.

Although it’s tough to see any former Packer play for the hated Bears, true Green Bay fans will be more than happy if Benkert gets a job.

Although Benkert was only in Green Bay for a season, he cemented himself as an absolute favorite among fans by providing non-stop great sound bites and constantly roasting the main stream Packer haters on Twitter.

He even received the flag from the USS Green Bay last offseason. He is absolutely the man.

Moments don’t get much better than Benkert getting into the game to take a couple knees during his first time on an active roster in his career.

It’s a move that would make a ton of sense for Chicago. Benkert could slide in easily given former Packers quarterbacks coach Luke Getsy is now in the same role with the Bears.

This is very difficult for any Packer fan to say, but if you get the job Kurt, I will be at least a tiny bit a Chicago fan this year. You deserve every good thing that comes your way.
