Colin Cowherd hasn’t been the biggest supporter of Aaron Rodgers or the Green Bay Packers, but Cowherd also isn’t one to stay stuck on an opinion when information pushes him a different direction. That’s what makes him a fascinating radio host. He can spend a year criticizing a guy and then spend an entire segment applauding him if he feels it’s warranted. Some call it flip-flopping, I personally believe it’s just being nuanced.
After Rogers performance on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, in which he discussed mortality amongst other things, Cowherd spent a portion of his show applauding the back to back MVP for being more interesting than your basic NFL superstar quarterback.
“Aaron Rodgers is more of an artist than an accountant” is a very astute observation. And it’s certainly a better take than Shannon Sharpe’s ridiculous reaction on his shouting show.
Aaron’s odd personality and unique outlook on life make this Packers team and their future I continuously interesting topic.
