NFL (1 Unit) Atlanta Falcons @ Detroit Lions -3 (-110): 12 PM on FOX
This is a spot that I’ve been waiting to stubbornly fade Desmond Ridder since he squeaked out a win last week against a Green Bay team that took their foot off the gas in the second half. If Detroit can come out and grab an early lead I have a hard time seeing Ridder keep up.
Jared Goff is also 17-8 ATS at home since 2020 and and 16-6 the past 2 seasons indoors. Goff and the Lions are coming off of a very disappointing loss against the Seahawks but I expect Dan Campbell to keep pounding on his way to what should be a comfortable win for the Lions at home.

Dallas Cowboys -6 @ Arizona Cardinals
Everything was going perfect for Dallas up until Trevon Diggs tore his ACL this week in practice. Although it’s a big blow for a team with Super Bowl aspirations, the depth on this defense should be plenty to keep the cowboys well afloat. Additionally, the Cowboys are getting some starters back from injury today and haven’t had a team come within 20 of them to start this season with an average margin of victory of 30 through 2 games. Pair that with Arizona being the worst team in the NFL, most likely tanking for Caleb Williams and it adds up to what should be a Cowboys runaway win.
Indianapolis Colts @ Baltimore Ravens -1.5
This has to be the most intriguing game of the week for me to tease down on. The Colts were just starting to get a little momentum when Anthony Richardson went down with a concussion so it will once again be the Gardner Minshew show for the Colts. Minshew comes into this game 1-10 straight up in his last 11 games as an underdog so this won’t be an easy matchup for him against a juggernaut Baltimore team. Lamar Jackson is also 16-2 at home straight up when favorited by a touchdown or more so factor in some poor weather with his dual threat capabilities and this should be a blow out by a dynamic Ravens squad.
