Kurt Warner Perfectly Defends Aaron Rodgers

We have the term “armchair quarterback” for a reason. There are far too many fans and media members who believe they know how to correctly assess every play, player, and game in the NFL. The truth is that many, if not all, are usually so far from being correct it’s laughable.

All of this applies one hundred fold to the Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rarely in NFL history has a star player been more scrutinized. Every throw, glance, and press conference word finds it way under the football worlds microscope. The man has made a lot of sports media outlets very rich.

In the Lions season ending defeat of the Packers an errant throw by Aaron Rodgers was shared all over Twitter as fans and “experts” broke down the film to criticize the quarterback missing a wide-open Christian Watson during crunch time. Lucky for Rodgers, Kurt Warner also saw the play and everyone’s reaction.

If you are not familiar with Kurt Warner’s QB Confidential YouTube channel or his Twitter account you are missing out. It’s a Hall of Fame quarterback breaking down game film in a fast paced, educational, and entertaining way. He shows you what’s really happening despite all the narratives.

One of Warner’s biggest pet peeves is when all these Twitter “experts”get on their high internet horses and try to tell you where a quarterback went wrong. Warner took to his account to break down the play and did so in perfect fashion.

What do ya know? It was a bunch of outrage over nothing. We are so far away from having an honest conversation about Rodgers and his performances. If we had more people like Warner out there and less people like the screaming heads on morning shouting shows maybe Green Bay wouldn’t be constantly in the crosshairs of gossip rumors and nonsense. This breakdown is perfect.

If you want more from Warner on Green Bay, earlier this season he perfectly broke down game film to show why everything Rodgers had been saying about small mistakes was exactly correct.
