Playing strikeout props in Coors field can be tricky since it’s tougher for pitchers to spin the ball at elevation. But the Rockies are still a team that I want to attack in the strikeouts market, as they have the highest strikeout rate in baseball overall and second-highest at home. So even backend starters like Walker should have success against them, and he’s already been racking up the punchouts with at least 5 in all 5 of his starts. A plus-juice return is just icing on the cake, so look for Walters to clear this total.

PCA was creating a lot of Rookie of the Year buzz until a relatively quiet June hit him. But he’s been hitting well against this Cleveland staff with 7 total bases in the 2 games so far in this series, and that should continue tonight against an even weaker Guardians starter. Luis Ortiz will be the most hittable pitcher the Cubs have seen in this series, and PCA will benefit from the righty on lefty matchup here. He’s also a much better hitter at home, and favorable weather conditions at Wrigley should help him notch at least a couple bases tonight.

I do not know what that was out of the Lynx on Tuesday night, but they sure didn’t seem like they even showed up to the gym. If I know this team even the slightest bit, I know that they’re a prideful and motivated squad that will not take an embarrassing loss well. We’ve already seen it this year after their two other losses when they easily covered the first half number in their next game. One of those losses came to this Mystics team in DC last week, so that turns this game into a double revenge spot. Washington is always a slow starter on the road anyway, so I think the Lynx are fired up to step on them early.
