Locked On Twins: Party Like it's 2059 — Target Field Lease Update

The Minnesota Twins would like to extend their Target Field lease 20 years to 2059, which would mark the 50th season at the park and the precipice of the team’s 100th year in Minnesota. As such, the Minnesota Ballpark Authority called a meeting on Thursday at the stadium to discuss this.

In this edition of Locked On Twins, Brandon (@Brandon_Warne/@warne.bsky.social) and Dave (@answerdavebrown/@answerdave.bsky.social) are joined by Zone Coverage’s Theodore Tollefson (@TheodoreTollef1/@theodoretollefson.bsky.social) to get the full details, including what it might mean for the team — and its potential subsequent sale — as well as how it’ll affect the city of Minneapolis.
