#MoreThanWords is back!
Last year, the MTW campaign raised over $5,000 for Chad’s Locker program, part of Chad Greenway’s Lead the Way Foundation. It was a great collaboration between many of your favorite Vikings blogs and Cold Omaha is proud to be a part of this year’s campaign.
This time around, #MoreThanWords is taking aim at head coach Mike Zimmer.
The Mike Zimmer Foundation keeps Vikki Zimmer’s giving spirit alive by providing opportunities to the youth of today to benefit the future of tomorrow.
The Foundation’s Mission Statement:
Our goal for The Mike Zimmer Foundation is to better lives of children in need. With the donations contributed from Mike Zimmer and the sponsors that we team up with, we want to not only promote a healthy, active lifestyle and way of living for children, but we also want to motivate less fortunate children and help them chase their dreams. A few of our plans include: ‘learning is cool’, college scholarships, free youth football camps, and a Viking game day experience.
Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 for the Mike Zimmer Foundation to continue to fuel the impact they’ve already made in communities around the country.
The promotion runs from June 1st to July 15, so there is plenty of time to donate and spread the word about Coach’s amazing cause. The Vikings have one of the most loyal, die-hard and loving fanbases in the NFL. Let’s honor our name by hitting that $10,000 goal (and beyond) for Coach Zim.
