Mariah Haedrich and Megan Madill had a pair of points for the Mirage, as they advance to Friday afternoon’s semifinals against Breck.
No. 1 Warroad 5, New Ulm 0
Warroad’s Hannah Corneliusen potted two goals while Madison Oelkers added a pair of points in the Warriors 5-0 defeat over New Ulm. Quinn Kuntz made all 20 saves — nine of which came in the third period — for top-seeded Warroad to keep a clean sheet and advance on to the semifinals.
No. 4 Alexandria 3, No. 5 St. Paul United 2
Three straight goals between the second and third period helped Alexandria move on to Friday’s semifinals. Kristin Trosvig had a pair of goals while Hailee Bailey made 33 saves — including some crucial ones in the game’s final minutes — to get the Cardinals the win in Wednesday’s final game.
