Harold Landry likely would have been a first-round pick if he’d left Boston College after his junior season, during which he led the nation with 16.5 sacks, not to mention seven forced fumbles and 22 tackles for loss.
But the second-team All-American returned for a final season.
His senior season production dipped because of an ankle injury, but he’s still one of the best defensive end prospects in the draft at 6-foot-3, 250 pounds. Landry’s 6.88-second three-cone drill at the combine puts him in the company of J.J. Watt, Joey Bosa and DeMarcus Ware.
Pro Football Focus ranks him above Bradley Chubb on their list of top edge rushers.
