The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed outfielder Danny Santana on the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain, an injury he suffered today in Oakland.

To replace Santana on the 25-man roster the Twins will recall outfielder Byron Buxton from Triple-A Rochester.  Buxton was named International League Batter of the Week earlier today and has hit .336 (39-for-116) with nine doubles, two triples, six home runs and 14 RBI in 29 games for the Red Wings since being optioned by the Twins on April 25.
