Terence Newman Re-Signs with Vikings

Terence Newman has re-signed with the Minnesota Vikings. The 38-year-old cornerback signed a one-year, $3 million deal according to the Star Tribune and ESPN. USA Today first reported that the deal had been finalized.

Newman started every game for the Vikings after signing as a free agent last spring. He led Minnesota with three interceptions. Next year will be his 14th season in the league, his eighth in three cities (Dallas, Cincinnati and Minnesota) under Mike Zimmer.
