Vikings Re-sign Andrew Sendejo (Updated)

The Minnesota Vikings have re-signed Andrew Sendejo.

[Update: According to an Associated Press source, Sendejo received a four-year extension.]

Sendejo, who has made 26 career starts – all with the Vikings – and appeared in 63 career games, will be entering his sixth NFL season and fifth with the Vikings in 2016. The San Antonio native started all 13 games he played in during the 2015 campaign and totaled 100 tackles, 0.5 sacks, one fumble recovery, one interception and six passes defensed. Sendejo has recorded at least 100 tackles for the Vikings in two of the last three seasons and has 43 career special teams tackles.

The Vikings have placed a tender on restricted free agent FB Zach Line. The Vikings have the first right of refusal.

The Vikings have also re-signed WR Adam Thielen and T Carter Bykowski, who were exclusive rights free agents.
