The San Antonio, Texas native saw his first extensive action on defense in 2015, adding 13 tackles, 1.0 sack, 1 QB pressure and 2 TFLs in 15 appearances (4 starts).

The 5th-year linebacker was a 4-year starter at Oklahoma, where he became the first player in school history to lead the team in tackles 4 straight seasons.
