The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have reinstated right-handed pitcher Ervin Santana from the disabled list (back strain). He is scheduled to start tomorrow night vs. the Chicago White Sox. To make room for Santana on the 25-man roster, the Twins have optioned catcher John Ryan Murphy to Triple-A Rochester.

In addition, the Twins have selected the contracts of outfielder Darin Mastroianni and catcher Juan Centeno from Rochester. Both Mastroianni and Centeno will be added to the roster today and be in uniform tonight when the Twins play the White Sox.

To make room on the 40-man roster, the Twins have designated left-handed pitcher Ryan O’Rourke and right-handed pitcher J.R. Graham for release or assignment.

Mastroianni will wear uniform number 21 and Centeno will wear number 37.
