Twins Option Three, Send Six to Minor League Camp

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have optioned the following players to Triple-A Rochester: right-handed pitcher Alex Meyer, first baseman Kennys Vargas and infielder Jorge Polanco.

Additionally, the Twins have reassigned the following players to minor league camp: right-handed pitchers Jose Berrios and Nick Burdi, left-handed pitcher Aaron Thompson, catchers Stuart Turner and Mitch Garver, and outfielder Joe Benson.

The Twins now have 43 players in camp (13 non-roster): 20 pitchers (5 non-roster), 5 catchers (2 non-roster), 9 infielders (3 non-roster) and 9 outfielders (3 non-roster).
