Twins Place Abad on Bereavement List, Recall O'Rourke

The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed left-handed pitcher Fernando Abad on the Bereavement List.

His name came up last night, and he is a logical replacement: swapping one lefty reliever with another.

To replace Abad on the 25-man roster, the Twins have recalled left-handed pitcher Ryan O’Rourke from Triple-A Rochester. O’Rourke appeared in 28 games for the Twins in 2015, posting a 6.14 ERA (22.0 IP, 15 ER) with 15 walks and 24 strikeouts.
