The Minnesota Twins announced tonight that they have placed outfielder Miguel Sano on the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain, an injury he suffered running to first base in the 3rd inning in Oakland.

To replace Sano on the 25-man roster the Twins will recall outfielder Max Kepler from Triple-A Rochester.  Kepler hit .282 (31-for-110) with four doubles, six triples, one home runs and 19 RBI in 30 games for the Red Wings this season.  Kepler appeared in nine games with the Twins earlier this season.
