The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher J.T. Chargois from Triple-A Rochester.  Chargois (pronounced shag-wah) combined to go 2-1 with a 1.35 ERA (46.2 IP, 7 ER), 13 walks, 55 strikeouts and 16 saves in 39 games between Double-A Chattanooga and Rochester this season.  The 25-year-old made one appearance for the Twins this season in mid-June.

To make room on the 25-man roster, the Twins have placed right-handed pitcher Trevor May on the 15-day disabled list (retro August 7) with a low back strain.  May missed 23 games earlier this season with lower back spasms.  He has appeared in 43 games for the Twins this season, going 2-2 with a 4.89 ERA (42.1 IP, 23 ER), 16 walks and 59 strikeouts.
