The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled left-handed pitcher Taylor Rogers from Triple-A Rochester. Rogers made one appearance for the Twins in mid-April.
Since being optioned, he has made six appearances (2 starts) for the Red Wings, going 0-1 with a 5.06 ERA (16.0 IP, 9 ER).
To make room for Rogers on the 25-man roster, the Twins have optioned right-handed pitcher Jose Berrios to Rochester. Berrios made four starts for the Twins, going 1-1 with a 10.20 ERA (15.0 IP, 17 ER), 12 walks and 20 strikeouts.
