The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have returned from rehab assignment and reinstated outfielder Danny Santana from the 15-day disabled list. To make room for Santana on the 25-man roster, the Twins have designated outfielder Oswaldo Arcia for release or assignment.

Santana made three rehab appearances with Triple-A Rochester hitting .364 (4-for-11) with three runs for the Red Wings. Santana was placed on the disabled list with a strained left hamstring May 31.

Arcia, 25, was hitting .214 (22-for-103) with four doubles, four home runs and 12 RBI in 32 games for the Twins this season.
