The Minnesota Twins announced today that they will return right-handed pitcher Trevor May from his rehab assignment and reinstate him from the 15-day disabled list.  May appeared in four games for Triple-A Rochester allowing one run in 3.2 innings pitched, with one walk, six strikeouts and one save. He missed the Twins last 23 games with low back spasms.

To make room for May on the 25-man roster, the Twins have optioned left-handed pitcher Buddy Boshers to Triple-A Rochester.
