Like Minkah Fitzpatrick, cornerback Jaire Alexander — an All-ACC selection — put together a remarkable sophomore season that put him on the radar. His five interceptions, nine passes defended and 39 tackles in 2016 turned out to be his best season as his spent most of his junior season on the sidelines with knee and hand injuries.
Alexander, who stands at 5-foot-11, likely made up for that down season with a great combine performance, highlighted by a 4.38 40-yard dash. He may be able to showcase that speed on special teams in the NFL, considering he returned punts for two seasons in college.
