At 6-foot-5 and a formidable 330 pounds, Quenton Nelson is almost assured to be the first offensive lineman taken in the draft.

He started at left guard for three seasons at Notre Dame next to other top prospect Mike McGlinchey, making for a devastating offensive line that helped the Fighting Irish become the seventh-best rushing team in the nation.

There’s no doubt about Nelson’s credentials at guard, but many are curious whether or not he could switch to tackle. Finding a starting guard is nice, but a tackle is even nicer. If Nelson has the flexibility to move outside, he’ll become even more valued than he already is.
