Boston Celtics +1 (-110): After leading for much of Game 3 and losing on an insane buzzer beater, the Celtics look to bounce back strong in Game 4. OG Anunoby may have just woken up Jayson Tatum from his Game 3 slumber, and that could be a scary thought for Toronto. Boston should be able to regain control in this series because they are the better team.

Clippers/Nuggets Over 222 (-110): The Clippers love to run and literally destroy teams, which is usually good for an over. The problem is that the Nuggets have not been able to get their offense going at all in the last two games. Even so, there was a combined 217 points in Game 1 despite Denver’s mediocre 97 point performance. Take the over in this one and expect the Nuggets to finally break 100 again.

Tampa Bay Rays -1.5 (-110): Blake Snell is really, really good. The Rays are once again a really strong team and just yesterday I pointed out that they had swept the Marlins once already in the past week. Looking for their 5th win in eight days against Miami, I expect that trend to continue.

San Diego Padres ML (Even): The Padres are a good team with a lot of swag, including their highly regarded prospect, Luis Campusano, who was brought up yesterday in a win vs. Oakland. For the first time in a while, the Padres were actually buyers at the trade deadline, giving them a little extra mojo going into September. I expect the A’s to continue to struggle at the plate while bouncing back from their time off due to a COVID-19 shutdown. Also, Chris Paddack has been more reliable than Sean Manaea so far in this shortened season, making this pick even more appealing. Even odds are too good to pass up on this one.
