NBA – Jazz  -2 (-110) @ Clippers: 9:00 PM CT on TNT

This series has seen momentum change a couple of times in ways that most series do not. The Utah Jazz started off with a couple of statement wins, but since then whether it be Donovan Mitchell’s ankle or whatever it is, they just simply have not played their brand of basketball.

That being said, Kawhi Leonard went down with a knee injury in Game 5 and we all know just how important he is to this Los Angeles Clippers team. It took anomaly games out of Marcus Morris and Reggie Jackson to squeak out a big win in Game 6. While I trust that Playoff P, aka Paul George, can get it done, I just don’t trust his supporting cast against a deep Jazz team.

Utah knows if they can squeeze out of this one against an undermanned Clippers team, they get to return to their home court mayhem. I just don’t see them letting those advantages slip through their hands. I also like their plus series odds before tonight’s game. But a spread of anything under 3 is too good to be true for a Utah team that should right the ship tonight, especially if Mike Conley returns for them.

MLB – Dodgers -1.5 (-110) @ Diamondbacks: 8:40 PM CT

Well, it’s official. The Arizona Diamondbacks are horrible. After breaking the MLB record for most consecutive road losses, they now head home to most likely extend another streak; 14 straight losses to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

On top of that, the Dodgers are sending out Trevor Bauer to slow down an already slow Arizona lineup. The moneyline of -190 was just too heavy for comfort, but the run line should be fun — especially as the road team with the top of the ninth in play. Look for the D-Backs to keep sliding down in the standings against the class of the NL tonight.

MLB – Rays ML (-110) @ Mariners: 9:10 PM CT on ESPN+

There really isn’t much science behind this one. I stayed up late last night and watched the Tampa Bay Rays blow a save and thought to myself “they’ll bounce back tomorrow.” Upon further investigating I realized they’ve actually lost three close games in a row, and with their standing in the AL East they know every game matters.

Look for them to right the ship tonight with Michael Wacha (3.52 road ERA) on the mound behind the big bat of Randy Arozarena.
