After Harrison Smith’s two-week stint on the covid list and Cam Bynum’s surprising performance in his place, faint whispers on the far edges of Vikings Twitter began to question Smith’s current value and recent contract extension. Well, how about we let one of the best people to ever play quarterback put a stop to that conversation right now.
In his weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee show, Aaron Rodgers rained compliments on the Vikings 32 year old, all world safety. After AJ Hawk called Harrison Smith’s game tape a “thing of beauty,” Rodgers gushed about Smith, even going so far as to suggest that his tape should be used as secondary education for young safeties. Rodgers continued on discussing the difficulty that the Vikings defense presents and how he approaches it.
